Northern Kentucky University and the
University of Cincinnati are located
approximately 10 miles apart in Greater Cincinnati. NKU is a Carnegie masters’
comprehensive university with a strong tradition of educating undergraduates.
NKU enrolls approximately 14,500 students. The University of Cincinnati is a
research I university.
The NKU campus is located approximately 10 miles from the
Northern Kentucky/Greater
Cincinnati International Airport .
Approximately 5 miles from the stadiums and entertainment facilities on the Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati sides of the Ohio River. The Transit Authority of Northern Kentucky (TANK) provides bus service from campus to the riverfront and to downtown Cincinnati where connections can be made to Cincinnati’s Metro bus service. Summer attractions in Greater Cincinnati include the Cincinnati Zoo, the Cincinnati Art Museum, the Cincinnati Museum Center, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, the Cincinnati Reds, and Riverbend Music Center.
